Main Street Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon uses fruit grown in warmer weather of Santa Barbara Counties which gives the wine a fruit forward characteristic, while the cooler climate of Monterey County lends balance and acidity. It's deep, dense, and ripe with flavors of black cherry, plum, and a hint of earthiness, ideal with filet mignon.
Main Street Pinot Noir
Main Street sources it's Pinot Noir grapes primarily from family owned vineyards in Napa Valley, where cooler breezes from the San Pablo bay lend a hand. With ripe black cherry and mocha flavors complemented by aromas of cedar, spice, and vanilla, this sleek and seductive Pinot is a steal!

Earth Day Behind the Vine: Parducci Winery

"At Parducci, viticultural practices are rooted in the belief that
great wines begin in healthy vineyards."

Parducci Winery
Grape growing and wine making methods aren’t what they used to be. We seem to have come a long way from stomping on grapes. Sustainability is on the rise in every wine region in the world. Implementing sustainable farming practices wherever practical include recycling water with water reclamation ponds, using solar power, composting instead of fertilizing, recycling corks and on and on. Parducci Wine Cellars continues a dedication to environmentally sound practices with a commitment to minimizing their impact on the environment. Once considered a trend, “going green” seems poised to become an industry standard, and Parducci is clearly ahead of the game in every aspect.

Parducci Pinot Noir
Great spices combined with a cherry and red fruit note, earth and a subdued but present oak note. One of the only Pinot Noirs under $20 that can rival others on the shelf that cost twice as much. A textbook Pinot Noir from Mendocino that will have Sonoma County lovers thinking twice about the region.

Parducci Chardonnay
Abundant flavors of apple and citrus dominate this clean and stylish Chardonnay. Look for a fresh core of tropical fruit on the midpalate that leads way to a balanced finish with just the right amount of acidity.

Parducci Petite Syrah
Inky in color with aromas of cherry, blackberry, mint and chocolate. This big red's got spicy, dark fruit flavors and supple tannins. Petite in name only, this is a big mouthful of red with classic notes Mendocino has become famous for.

Behind the Vine: Gnarly Head Winery

Gnarly Head Winery

Gnarly Head produces a wide variety of wines with an intense flavor profile. The name originates from the original vineyards, in particular a set of 'gnarly' looking, head trained Zinfandel vines that are up to 80 years old. This results in fewer grape clusters with smaller berries, but more concentrated and profound flavors and color than trellised vines. Nobody knows these old vines better than Bud Bradley, Director of Viticulture for Gnarly Head, who grew up in Lodi and has worked in the wine business his entire life.  He's helped the winery catapult sales and recently Gnarly Head was awarded the "Hot Brand” award, nearly doubling its sales from the prior year. These award winning wines are worth buying by the case.

Gnarly Head Old Vine Zinfandel

This is where it all started for Gnarly Head. The Old Vine Zinfandel is their claim to fame, sourced from the heart of Zin heaven, Lodi. With the vines averaging anywhere from 40 to 80 years old, you’re guaranteed a mouthful of rich, bold, dark berry fruit. On the finish, brambly notes of jam and chocolate layer up and will have you reaching for another sip soon enough. A gnarly selection for all things BBQ.

Gnarly Head Cabernet

Here’s a California Cabernet that is both budget friendly and pleasing on the palate. Dark red in the glass, this red shows aromas of black cherry and cranberry. Take a sip and you’ll notice it’s bold but balanced, with jammy fruit upfront and seductive tannins on the finish. This is a true California Cabernet value.

Gnarly Head Authentic Red

The newest addition to the portfolio, this blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet, Merlot and Petite Sirah packs a punch on the palate. Intense blackberry and spice flavors mingle together delivering a solid dose of fruit upfront and notes of chocolate and cherry on the finish. Fresh and juicy, this red is not overly complex, but that’s what makes it so delicious. Great with burgers off the grill, pizza and pasta.
